This position will direct dispatch activities a fast-paced time critical market place environment. The Dispatcher will work closely with drivers to ensure timely, accurate, and safe transit of shipments from Coast to Coast. Maintaining the existing customer base while generating new business is a must. The Dispatch-Sales position will collaboratively work with the office personnel to ensure operational efficiency.

Daily Functions:

Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction at all times. Review daily shipment schedule and implement carriers to meet customer delivery requirements while maintaining the profitability of the company. Coordinate with outside carriers to maintain the customers expected level of service. Schedule drivers and equipment to appropriate locations according to customer specifications and document position updates using telephone, emails and satellite tracking. Assist drivers dealing with unexpected situations or delays. Make customer sales calls/emails to generate increased sales and profitability. Update customers on pickup and delivery schedules via email and telephone.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
Customer service phone and dispatcher experience necessary
Negotiating and the ability to resolve disputes
Working knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Must possess strong work ethic, be highly motivated and want to make money.
Must possess a strong sense of urgency and excellent customer services skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally in English.
Able to speak Russian is a plus
